• HEADA-Community Doctors (HEADA_MdC)

HEADA-MdC is a branch of HEADA-Relief Services. It collaborates with the authorities and other players in the healthcare system to contribute to efforts to promote health and prevent disease at community level, for the benefit of indigent populations (the disabled, the destitute), orphans and vulnerable children, marginalized populations, populations in isolated and hard-to-reach areas, as well as people who do not benefit from comprehensive healthcare. HEADA-MdC offers needs-based assistance, regardless of the tribe, religion, gender or political affiliation of the individual or group. Our actions are based on medical ethics and impartiality. HEADA-MdC is based on the indicators of the country’s national strategic plan. An assessment is carried out in the field to determine the needs of the population before each intervention. We also work to promote health through donations of quality nutritional packages, and by facilitating access to drinking water and a healthy environment. Our funding comes from our members, private donors and other organizations.
