Community Empowerment
The mission of the Community Empower Division at HEADA is to conduct processes and interventions that are concentrated in local communities and is grounded in critical reflection and democratic participation of relatively marginalized members enabling them to play an active role in decisions making concerning conditions and resources.
Interventions to be implemented should aim to build autonomy and sustainability in the beneficiary communities with the goal to improve the living condition of this population.
Some examples of interventions include but not limited to:
- Promote agricultural economy, farming and fishing
- Promote environmental protection and sustainable development
- Promote access to water and energy
- etc.
